Ok, so we’ve been ignoring this whole Back To Reality thing, it was a headache before, but it’s starting to really freak people out.
Someone’s just let us know that some non approved footage from the WKS bus has appeared on Youtube – we’ve contacted the site to have it taken down, but we have no idea where it’s come from or how it could have been leaked. There are only a small amount of people who have access to the footage we shoot…
People are running around at the moment trying to get to the bottom of things – we’ll update you when we know more.
So much for a fun filled summer roadtrip. At least we’re getting our share of drama – Big Brother eat your heart out!
Sadly, on the evening of August 30th a Who Killed Sumer contestant, Tete, was discovered semi-concious having taken an illegal drug overdose. The producers of Who Killed Summer would like to make it clear that they take these events extremely seriously and have undertaken a number of appropriate measures to deal with the situation – both immediately and for the longer term.
These comprise:
Upon discovering Tete on board the bus she was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and thoroughly examined. Fortunately, thanks to swift medical intervention, Tete’s condition did not deteriorate and she is now making a recovery.
Tete was offered counselling by a qualified drugs specialist.
Tete has been givenA the contact details of an accredited drug rehabilitation facility.
The police have been informed (After visiting the location, talking with Tete and searching her persons and the vehical, the police have decided to take no further action in this case as they have not discovered any illegal substances.)
The producers have spoken at length with Tete about the situation and urged her to leaving the show to seek immediate rehailitation. After considering all options, Tete has decided to stay on the show and complete it, and to enter a drugs rehabilitation programme as soon as the series ends.
Tete greatly regrets what has happened and would like to send a clear message to the show’s audience that her use of drugs has been a huge personal error and that she intends to return to her programme of 100% sobriety immediately.
Fianally, the producers would like to defend their descision to include footage of the incident in the show. This was not undertaken lightly, but instead after a period of consideration and debate. We eventually decided to go ahead and inlude the footage in the hope that it serves as a stark and shocking reminder of the very real dangers of taking illegal drugs.
Last week’s episodes (11 and 12) were filmed on location at the best ever tipi village @ Longthorns Farm. We had a wonderful stay there and would like to thank Sally + Mark at Longthorns for being so welcoming + helpful.
Have you seen these six reality show contestants? They are distressed individuals - Do not approach directly. Could be dangerous – especially when they don’t get their own way. Liable to throw tantrums. Overtired and snappy . If you have any information or photographic evidence of their whereabouts, please post in comments below.
The producers of ‘Who Killed Summer 2009’ would like to remind contestants that they are bound, by contract, to the terms and conditions as set out in that contract.
They urge contestants to pay particular attention to:
7.IV: By signing this document I hereby agree to adhere to the rules and regulations as laid out in points 13.1 – 15.VIII.
7.V: I hereby agree to contribute, in person, to all events that I am asked to participate in and I revoke the right to bypass or avoid any event unless agreed to, on a case by case basis, by production.
7.VII: In the event of illness I will be subject to a full medical examination by a medical professional supplied by the production. I reserve the right to appoint my own independent consultant. My eligibility to take part in events shall be determined by the prognosis of the doctor/s.
The producers have not been made aware of any contestant suffering from an illness and, therefore, consider their current actions and behaviour – specifically their failure to adhere to the pre-planned schedule, to be an infringement of the terms and conditions of the contract.
May production remind contestants that as they are clearly in breach of the contract then there will be repercussions for their actions.
Production urges one or all contestants to make contact with production immediately to discuss how this situation can best be rectified.
What a week, what a weekend… there’s so much WKS? goodness coming up it feels like we’re spoiling you – like some sort of sexy, bikini clad ferrero roche… anyway…
Boardmasters was a blast – sun, sea, sand, snogging… seems the sea air got to Tete, or maybe she was just impressed by some random guy sorting out toilet paper. Either way she’s got it bad.
And onto the THANKYOUS! – in no particular order, these good people all made our stay brilliant – James Rodd, Ashley, Emma & Byron at Sportsvision and Hayley at Little PR… legends.
Ahh – time for another task – the gang have been looking forward to Boardmasters all week… they’ve been like kids the night before Christmas, so sweet. And so we thought to ourselves, why don’t we make it just like Christmas, you know when you were young… when you were soooo excited about what you were gonna get, you just couldn’t get to sleep no matter what?
You should have seen the look on their faces when we told them their next challenge… was just like Christmas! Well Christmas in the trenches maybe, but still Christmas!
So no more fiddly little tasks, we’re amping things up – so which of our ‘hardcore party animals’ can prove they’ve got the partying constitution of Keith Richards and stay awake the longest…
THE RULES:
Dead easy – NO. SLEEP. ‘TIL. BOARDMASTERS.
The last one to fall asleep is the winner – doesn’t matter how you do it (legal highs only please gang) – coffee… pro-plus… nipple clamps, whatever floats your boat.
Just do.. not… close. your…. eyes…… zzzz
Shut them for more than 5 seconds + boom. Game over sleepy, you’re out.
This guy is starting to get on our tits – sick of hearing that whole ‘everyone’s entitled to their opinion’ or ’sticks and stones…’ – at first it was kind of funny, actually nice to see someone cared enough to spend time writing all that junk, but it’s really started to cause friction on the road.
Claire’s been accusing everyone left right and centre of slagging her off behind her back – have to admit it’s great footage, but could do with things cooling off before we head to Boardmasters – another day on the bus with no one speaking isn’t ideal.
